In the Nordic region, Zambon was established through the acquisition of Nigaard Pharma in 2002 and is now present in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Iceland. Zambon develops, manufactures, and markets innovative medicines in areas such as neurology, respiratory diseases, and rare conditions, with a particular focus on Parkinson’s disease and cystic fibrosis.
The Role
As Commercial Lead Nordics, you will hold a central, business-driving position responsible for developing and implementing Zambon’s commercial strategy across the Nordic region. The role combines strategic leadership with operational responsibility for key accounts (KAM) and offers great autonomy and the opportunity to drive the company’s regional growth.
You will lead the commercial strategy development & implementation in the Nordics region for both existing and upcoming products, focusing on growth, market share, and customer satisfaction. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in medical affairs, marketing, regulatory, market access, and supply chain.
The position reports to the Chief Innovative Therapies Officer, with a matrix reporting line to the Country Lead in the Netherlands. The role is based in Lund, with travel across the Nordic countries (approximately 35–45 overnight trips per year).
Qualifications and Profile
We are looking for someone with solid experience in sales and marketing within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within neurology or respiratory therapy areas. You have worked strategically with product launches, key account management, and commercial planning and possess a strong understanding of Nordic healthcare systems and its price & reimbursement dynamics.
We believe you have:
• At least 5–7 years of experience in commercial roles within pharmaceuticals in the Nordics
• A university degree in life sciences or business (MBA or further education is a plus)
• Excellent English skills and proficiency in Swedish and/or Danish
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• The ability to work independently, structured, and results-oriented
• Experience working in a matrix organization and international environment
