ABOUT THE ROLE AS PD/REG MANAGER COSMETICS

As PD/Reg Manager Cosmetics, you will play a central role in the innovation and compliance of Urtekram Nordic Beauty products. Reporting to the Head of Regulatory, you will work closely with the Innovation Manager, Global Brand Manager, and cross-functional teams to ensure that our products are both high-performing and fully compliant with regulatory standards worldwide.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Driving innovative and sustainable product development in line with future regulatory requirements
• Advising on legal and scientific limitations and requirements
• Collecting, compiling, and evaluating scientific data, including safety assessments and product registrations
• Developing new formulations and ensuring continuous improvements in the laboratory
• Collaborating with marketing, sourcing, and regulatory colleagues to deliver compliant products to the market
• Implementing regulatory strategies, preparing PIFs, supporting export documentation, handling CPNP registrations, reviewing product claims and marketing materials, and monitoring approval processes

YOUR PROFILE

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, pharmacology, cosmetic science, or another relevant field, combined with at least 5 years of experience in product development and formulation within cosmetics, personal care, or a related industry.

In addition, you bring:

• Strong knowledge of global cosmetic regulations and standards
• Experience ensuring compliance with international organic and natural certification standards (COSMOS Organic, Vegan, Allergy Certified)
• Practical project management experience (an advantage)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to translate regulatory frameworks into actionable product requirements
• A holistic, solutions-oriented, and proactive mindset

As a person, you are curious, collaborative, and creative, with excellent stakeholder management skills. You have a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and balance innovation with compliance priorities.

Strong written and spoken communication skills in Danish and English are required. The role includes travel – visits to our Malmö headquarter, plus occasional external meetings.
