ABOUT THE ROLE AS QA MANAGER BEAUTY

As our new QA Manager Beauty, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards across all beauty products produced in Mariager. You will report to the Group Director QA/Reg and lead a small team of two QA Coordinators.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring compliance with all quality standards for our beauty products
• Acting with authority to initiate recalls, withdrawals, or sales stops when required
• Optimising and maintaining our quality management system
• Leading process optimisation and continuous improvements
• Securing compliance with certifications such as ISO 22716, COSMOS Organic, Vegan Certified, and Allergy Certified
• Managing deviations, root cause analyses, and driving corrective actions
• Performing supplier audits and follow-ups worldwide
• Collaborating closely with product development, production, and regulatory teams

This is a role where you will influence processes, strengthen quality assurance, and contribute to Urtekram Beauty’s continued growth journey.

YOUR PROFILE

We believe you have a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, pharmacology, cosmetic science, or another relevant field – or equivalent practical experience. You bring at least 5 years of experience in quality assurance within cosmetics, chemical products, or semi-solid pharmaceuticals.

In addition, you have:

• Solid experience with GMP requirements and root cause analysis
• Knowledge of COSMOS Organic, Vegan Society, Allergy Certified, or similar standards
• Practical experience with ISO 22716 or other relevant quality frameworks
• Experience in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives

As a person, you are structured, pragmatic, and proactive. You are skilled at communicating your expertise and building cross-functional collaboration. You thrive in a dynamic environment and have a proven ability to manage multiple projects at once while balancing development and compliance priorities.

Strong written and spoken communication skills in Danish and English are required. The role also involves travel to our headquarters in Malmö and for global supplier audits.
