We are currently seeking a driven and communicative Account Manager to join our Swedish team!
As an Account Manager at Sarstedt you will represent our brand, drive sales of our high-quality consumables in the Pre-analytical and Life Science areas, and support procurement processes in collaboration with colleagues. You will be based from your home office in the Gothenburg area, covering the Gothenburg region as well as Skåne and you will work both independently and as part of our Nordic sales organization.
Key responsibilities:
- Promote and sell Sarstedt’s products and solutions to customers in the Gothenburg and Skåne regions
- Perform customer visits and product demonstrations
- Support colleagues with tender work and other tasks (approx. 20% of the role)
- Develop and implement strategies and tactics for your sales district
- Prepare pricing offers and negotiate with industrial clients
- Meet and exceed qualitative and quantitative sales targets
- Maintain and expand existing customer relationships
- Identify and drive new business opportunities
- Enter and update CRM with relevant customer data

Your qualifications:
We are looking for someone with a scientific background, preferably a Master of Science in Engineering, but an MSc or BSc in Biotechnology, Biomedical Laboratory Science, or other relevant Life Science education is also desirable, though not limiting. Experience in sales is highly valued, particularly within the MedTech, Life Science and hands-on experience with phlebotomy is considered a plus. Fluency in Swedish and strong business-level English skills are required. To succeed in this role we do believe you should be a competitive, high energy individual with excellent communication skills, highly self-driven and comfortable working independently. You must also be open to frequent travel within the assigned region as well as in the rest of the Nordic area (Sweden/Norway/Finland), including occasional travel in Europe, and hold a valid driver’s license. It is essential that you are based in the Gothenburg area and have the ability to work from a home office. Why Sarstedt?
